Dylan Alcott AO

Keynote speaker: Dylan Alcott AO

Australian of the Year 2022, Dylan Alcott AO, is one of the country’s most successful and well recognised Paralympians.

In 2021 Dylan Alcott became the only male in any form of tennis to win the 'Golden Slam', winning the Australian, French, Wimbledon, and US Open Championships, together with his gold medal from the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

In 2017, Dylan launched the Dylan Alcott Foundation, a foundation created to help young Australians with a disability achieve their goals in the workplace, on the sporting field or at university.

Dylan Alcott was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2022 for distinguished service to Paralympic sport, particularly to tennis, and as a role model for people with disability, and to the community through a range of organisations.

About the theme: Whole person, whole system

This year's theme, "Whole person, whole system", explores the intersection of the needs of individuals and the larger systems that serve them. By focusing on the whole person, rather than just the injury or disability, providers improve outcomes for individuals while ensuring the sustainability of the larger system.

Hear the latest thinking and practices in person-centred claims management, value-based care, system-wide issues – costs, fraud, the impact, risks and opportunities of new technologies and what the schemes of tomorrow will look like.

IDSS 2023 will provide you with practical strategies and solutions that you can apply in your work to support individuals in achieving better outcomes. Whether you're a claims manager, healthcare provider, or technology expert, our seminar will give you the tools you need to make a real difference in the lives of individuals while ensuring the sustainability of the larger system. Join us at the Injury and Disability Schemes Seminar 2023 and be a part of the conversation around the whole person, whole system approach to claims management and care!
