Transition Arrangements

 Phased Introduction Of New Fellowship Program Subjects

The table below sets out the transition plan for the introduction of the new Fellowship subjects.

  • New subjects introduced each year are in bold font.Introduction of these new subjects have been scheduled to provide for students on both the existing Part III Program and the new Fellowship Program.
  • Shaded boxes refer to subjects which will only be open for enrolment to students who are part-way through the specialisation or need to re-sit a subject.For example students who have already started studying 2A/2B or 6A/6B may enrol in 2A/2B (in 2019) or 6A/6B (in 2019 and 2020) in order to complete their specialisation.
  • Students who had planned to undertake 2A and 2B Life Insurance or 6A or 6B Global Retirement Incomes for the first time in 2019, or later, will instead enrol in the new subjects Life Insurance and Retirement Valuation and Life Insurance and Retirement Product Development.
  • Some subjects in the new Fellowship Program will have pre-requisites (students must have sat the subject but not necessarily have passed the assessment) as follows:
    - Life Insurance Applications (Pre-requisites:Life Insurance and Retirement Valuation, and Life Insurance and Retirement Product Development).
    - Retirement Applications (Pre-requisite: Life Insurance and Retirement Product Development).
    - General and Health Insurance Applications (Pre-requisites: General and Health Insurance Valuation, and General and Health Insurance Product Development).

* Delivering 2A and 2B in 2019 to aid in transition for existing students who may be part way through this pathway or needing to re-sit these subjects.

** Delivering 6A and 6B in 2019 & 2020 to aid in transition for existing students who may be part way through this pathway or needing to re-sit these subjects.

*** Delivering 3A, 3B and 5A and 5B in 2021 to aid in transition for existing students who may be part way through this pathway or needing to re-sit these subjects.

**** Delivering CAP in 2022 to aid in transition for existing students required to re-sit CAP or complete four modules under the existing program.
